Is there any way to compare YTD mileage with previous years? I know I could pay for Veloviewer (I do like the graph style they use) but I don't use any of the other data and I'm sure I'd seen something similar (not in graph form) on Strava in the past.
Go to your training calender and look at the year's statsHR, only in as much as any data is 'interesting' - If you want to train 'properly' - i.e. with structure and science, it's pretty much the starting point. It's more useful during, but also useful after. If you just want to ride, it's pretty much a waste of time.
Duotrap is ANT+ as far as I know, so it depends on what you want to hook it up to. If you're using a bike garmin, yes, some of the lower spec watches no. Polar, probably not (own protocol), phone - some recent samsungs have ant+ onboard, iphones need an ant dongle (crappy solution for riding), other phones, no idea, there may be dongles available.

Funnily enough I was looking at coding that myself using the strava API, and I came across this:http://www.jonathanokeeffe.com/strava/annualSummar...
Not as slick as veloviewer, but covers most of the summary stuff, including an almost identical graph under the annual cumulative distance tab.

I use "copymysports" to transfer rides from Garmin conect to Strava but the last 2 rides have not appeared and if I try to do it manually the ID of the ride can't be confirmed,
Has anyone used this and had problems?
Garmin connect now transfers to strava without having to use third party anymore. It finally works with endomondo now also for anyone that uses it. Has anyone used this and had problems?
You go into strava settings and find connect in social sharing.

The free Premium subscription I got from Strava last year has expired. I had planned to renew using the ‘buy something from our shop, get Premium half price’ offer but this looks to have been withdrawn. Certainly I can’t see it as an option during checkout.
Anyone know if it comes and goes, or if it is gone for good?
Not too bothered about it, I think VeloViewer gives more for far less, but I don’t mind paying a little for Premium.

Epic fail spotted with the 2015 records.
First time you ride a segment for the year it gives you a PR for the year. But then when you beat that time for that year it does nothing and shows you nothing. So it gives you a yearly PR no matter how slow when you first hit a previously ridden segment that year then no recognition of improving that time for the year.
Pointless

I'm sure that you also used to get personal 2nd or 3rd in 2015 awards but these seem to have gone by the wayside.
It is getting harder to get a 2015 KOM or placing so they are getting rarer and feel more worthy IMHO.

Got a couple of 2015 top tens and an all time on a hill attack mansfield way on the weekend, but nothing for a few weeks. It is getting harder to get a 2015 KOM or placing so they are getting rarer and feel more worthy IMHO.

Possibly because I'm
A - Not that quick
B - Normally riding the same roads
I only use my iPhone 4 for viewing the rides having got a Garmin 510 (apart from the last week when my Garmin decided not to play and was sent back for another replacement).
I have noticed that it gets slower and slower after every update to view a ride, leader board or segment. I think it is just redundant! However, I'm too tight to buy my own phone - mine is supplied FOC by work so I suppose I shouldn't complain
