So been using my garmin 810 instead of my phone for tracking my rides.
Bluetooth from the garmin to garmin connect on my phone, automatically sends from connect to strava.
All worked great for the past 15 rides, now won't connect - my ride is saved on garmin connect, but can't transfer it to strava. Was flying too!

Anybody having trouble uploading GPX files manually today?
Usually export from Endo and manually upload to Strava, today it's saying "Error Processing Activity"
Just had a reply on my ticket, fault with their upload system earlier. If anyone had the same issue, try again now and it'll work. Usually export from Endo and manually upload to Strava, today it's saying "Error Processing Activity"
Got my first KOM today - but on a segment I've never seen before and I have only ridden today according to Strava (despite having done same route many times) - looking at the map GPS was off through the woods and while segment meanders and climbs the track I use is straightish and slight down hill.
So sadly had to flag it as wrong

There are about half a dozen segments like that local to me. They usually consist of a gravel track or 'fire road' that runs straight alongside a technical single-track segment that swoops and doubles back on itself through the adjacent woodland. There are also one or two where roadies feature on MTB segments, as they are riding the A30 dual carriageway which is close to, and parallel with a couple of off road segments. So sadly had to flag it as wrong
I admire you for having the integrity to flag your own ride, but I don't bother on mine because so many other riders (the entire top ten on the one I looked at in detail, for a start) have gratefully accepted their fire-road result on the single track segment. There's nothing to be done about it either, as the start and finish points, and in fact the entire segment length, are all within Strava's GPS drift tolerance.

It doesn't look like many in top have accepted such there - I suspect it is just a little too far apart to normally trigger.Dilemma time!
I've completed the Strava/Specialized 'Spring Classics' distance challenge. All well and good. But the 'prize' (the right to purchase a pair of water bottles for $23 plus shipping) is tempting me...
...normally it'd be an overpriced jersey with a none too desirable design, and I'd dismiss it instantly. The trouble is, the bottles are a spot-on match for my new bike...
...except for the obvious problem for Captain OCD here, in that they're 'Specialized' branded bottles going onto a Trek bike
Someone please talk some sense into me. I've never heard of anyone who has admitted to buying any of the Strava tat yet, and don't want to be the first, only to end up banished for my error of judgement. Please help a tormented soul!

Thanks for the replies, chaps. It looks like I might leave it then, although the shipping costs appear to have been reduced, at only "$0 to $15 for the UK (and Australia)". It'll be £27/£28 (inc. taxes and shipping) for a couple of bottles that won't even have the Camelbak Podium's leakproof lid. Is that reason enough to discount them? The mixed branding would be hard to live with though, as I've never really been a fan of Specialized as a brand. Camelbak Podiums will have to be the realistic alternative, I suppose...
