That's bloody impressive, especially when you zoom in on the eyes which is just plodding over and around in circles in a field. My iPhone 4S is increasingly struggling to run Strava. It is getting slower to respond when starting, recording and uploading and downloading the run/ride data.
It took 30 seconds from pressing the record button to display the stopwatch.
Even my terrible Samsung S3 Mini work phone works better with Strava nowadays (apart from numerous bugs)
Maybe it is time for a dedicated GPS device? Ideally I'd have a bike one and a run watch, but I'd probably make do with a running device.

I've noticed quite large discrepancies between hidden segments and regular segments that cover the same ground. An example is a normal segment that i recently got a best time on, beating my old time by 10seconds. However the hidden segment which covers the identical 2.5km bit of road says i was slower by 11 seconds.
There are other examples of hidden segments that are within the start and finish of normal segments that show times longer that the normal segment too to ride!. I like my bike a lot but im pretty sure it's not able to break the laws of physics!
This has happened with different GPS devices (Bryton and Garmin) so its most likely something to do with Strava as opposed to my GPS malfunctioning (although not impossible of course)
OK, it's not that important but potentially makes segments nothing more than a very rough approximation at best. Given that Strava is unable to count properly (just look at the leader board places) I'm not that surprised, but it definitely means i wouldn't pay for it.
If anyone has got any ideas on why this happens........

Are you killing every app so you just have strava running?
If I ran Strava and stream music half my ride would be dropped!
My 5s has no real issues

I use a Garmin 920XT. Great piece of kit but expensive. I don't like carrying a phone with me when running anyway. It took 30 seconds from pressing the record button to display the stopwatch.

According to that, the profile of my KOMs matches most closely with Mark Cavendish, I'll take that
My meagre and rather pathetic KOM tally closely matches Rudi Altig, apparently?Former World Champion (1966) and the winner of the points jersey and GC in the 1962 Vuelta a España. Happy days!
