I like it.
I've been getting right back into mountain biking and recently the desire to get a Full Sus is getting stronger and a FIVE is right up there on the wish list.

It'd be far too gaudy and tasteless then!!!! wink

Thanks for all the positve comments. I doubt I'm good enough to get away with the colour, but I just happen to like it so bought it. I appreciate everyone will think I'm a complete tw@t riding it but I really don't mind that.

Mate I must be from a different school of thought as if I see one in that colour I'd say it looked smart, is it not normally people who are jealous what make remarks?

Also I'm normally breathing that hard on a mountain bike it would have to be a loud colour for me to even notice it.

I'd rather be the guy with all the gear and little idea, than the guy who's really good and being let down by his kit.

Do it! I know I've specced mine up quite a lot but I test rode the standard 5 Pro and really all it needed was a set of wider bars, it did have a Reverb on as that was another must have for me apart from those bits if I was being sensible with the spec and my budget not an idiot I'd of added the Hope Pack as the floating rotar are to pretty not to have at £50 or whatever it is.

I'd have to say the bike has given me a seriously improved turn of speed, not trying to say i'm good but it's a fantastic skill compensator!!!!

Will find out just how good it is after 3 days in Wales starting tomorrow!

Well i'm not sure i'd have one in pink wink but it's a very nice looking bike. There's a reason Orange 5's sell so well, they are fantastic pieces of kit, and are every bit as robust as they look.

As an aside, Fox forks aren't a fit and forget part. They do need servicing (preferably by a professional company like TFtuned) as their stanchions are prone to wearing if they aren't well maintained. That's assuming that you don't already know this hehe

Enjoy it in anger!

Awesome bike, I absolutely love my 5 Pro, I'm rocking Sunline 745 bars.

How did you get on over the weekend in Wales?
I'm hitting Coed Llandegla, Minton Batch & Cannock Chase this weekend, it will absolutely smash the trails up!

Was good to try the bike on something tougher than the local loop, but unfortunately after the big old climb to the top of Whites Level i bailed quite badly on the black run, pretty much 17.5 stone lading on a rock on the lower left hand side of my back, luckily I pushed the bike from under me so it wasn't damaged. I on the other hand not so good. Currently walking is very painful although riding doesn't hurt, so instead of Brechfa on Monday we just did the blue at FOD and a little bit of the Corkscrew DH track. Bike was absolutely amazing, any reservations i had about how it'd climb nul and void, climbs better than my old 120mm XC full sus. Just an absolute joy couldn't reccommend it highly enough, although I did bump into some one at FOD with a neon pink Alpine 160 which surprised me and him!
