Sainsburys basic ones are 80 pence for 80. I go through them like a teenager with broadband circa 2005.

I thought "cleaning the mech" was a euphamism, given the reference to bonking...

I'll fetch me coat.

I appear to have lots to learn about this parenting lark.

Cling film can buy you a window to get the blood off the carpet before decamping to A&E...

Chickened out of the Wandsworth One-Way banger race this morning and took the "offical" "slow with lots of crossings" cycle route. Not doing that again, cost me 2 minutes!

On the bright side, I get to knock off at 1pm today, so I should get a better ride home than the usual 5pm.

Haha

Decided to get my arse into gear and find a job....

My CV seems to pass the test even though I've not applied for many, that and getting at-least 3 stages for each. Have just handed in my notice today though so can't foresee any more and just have a decision between jobs to make (1 offered but one pending about which I'm fairly certain)

Rode in to work for the first time today. It’s 9.6 miles and averaged 14.6 MPH so took around 40 minutes. Looking forward to seeing myself improve and hopefully bring it down to around 30 minutes.

Lovely morning here in Edinburgh though, so the perfect conditions hopefully haven’t contributed to too high a benchmark!

Rode in this morning on my 'new' bike.

I normally ride a heavy, folding Dahon Matrix, but recently bought a Triban 3 SH. Got up early to go on a train that allows non-folding bikes and did 13.6 miles at an average of just over 15mph.

It's a good 3mph more as an average speed than my other commuter. I did seem to hit more lights though.

Lush this morning, sun was out, the wind felt like a cooling breeze, no traffic and cars gave me loads of room!

Really enjoyed it

Nice ride in today - somebody did take a bit of a friendly exception to me drafting them along the Jamaica road though!

Bit of a headwind coming in and tired legs and lots of lights = fairly slow time

Got the new PH top for the ride back so here's hoping I don't look like a slow wobbling fool!
