It appears people have begged, borrowed or even dug out bikes from sheds and cycled to work.
When mixed with car drivers who don't usually drive to work and are stressed due to the traffic there's lots of accidents just waiting to happen.
The cows and sheep on my commute seemed surprisingly tranquil. When mixed with car drivers who don't usually drive to work and are stressed due to the traffic there's lots of accidents just waiting to happen.

I saw very few potential issues, mostly because it's hard to have an accident with a car that is stationary. The whole of West London was a carpark. Good to see a lot of newbies out, I wonder if a few of them will realise that they actually get less sweaty on a bike than they do on the Circle Line? When mixed with car drivers who don't usually drive to work and are stressed due to the traffic there's lots of accidents just waiting to happen.

Newbies negotiating stationary traffic is a massive issue, popping out from between cars without looking, overtaking without looking. Lane discipline is another (why do the slowest people sit on the RHS of the lane or 3 abreast at the same speed as those on their inside? )Gassing Station | Pedal Powered | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
