Certainly windy in this morning. Legs felt a bit tired after Saturdays 81 miles and 20 miles yesterday but still took a small detour to make 20 miles and 1050ft climb 23 miles and 1350ft climb. 17.6mph average.
Some science in sport REGO recovery when I got here as I feel a bit worse for wear!

I now always eat a breakfast with protein after riding in. I think it helps.
not a commute but was a nice post work ride. 30miles with 1234ft of climbing (the edge 200 doing it's low estimate but meh it's a nice number!).
The wind was a bit of a bugger, but was a good ride.. well except the bloody wasp sting at 8miles in.. that's the 3rd run in with stinging insects in the last month!

Massive headwind on my ride home this afternoon, it's only 10km but it was hard. Very irritating to have some knobber getting a free ride on my back wheel most of the way home too
Look upon it as you getting a better workout than he wasQuhet said:

That really annoys me. I generally let em go past then return the favour, then I generally can't keep up (MC Bodge said:

Today's ride I was not pushing that hard.
The old one I was pretty much blowing out my arse when I got to work
Good to see an improvement, but there is also the small fact that the wind in Manchester is blowing hard from the SW today The old one I was pretty much blowing out my arse when I got to work
Traffic in central London seems much quieter since the schools finished. Train isn't as busy either
Up to £350 saved now since March. and the Brompton has done just over 180 miles now. First 6 week service booked in for the end of next week. Not sure if I will keep using Evans, but the bike came from Evans and the first service is free, so thought I might as well have it done.

Windy, but it's the fens...
Today seems windier. I'm out later, but not cycling to work at the moment as it's 25 miles. If I were to ride to work (maybe next year when I'm a lot fitter), the head winds will generally affect my ride home.

Good work. Unless there are a load of traffic lights etc. on your route you'll have that down below 15 minutes before you know it.My progress in fitness
