Sadly, no video of the crash. See you all back on this thread in 6-8 weeks.
Ouch - get better fellah.

Made 2000 miles this year as I arrived at work!

Sadly I also seem to have developed "see through" capability - two vehicles couldn't see me on the way in!

First proper cold day of the year, was 6 degrees as I left

Nice ride in , dragged out the winter steel bike for the first time in months which now has 32c tyres on, it felt like driving a steam engine, was really quick on the gravel bits though

Today was the first day in my thrid week of cycing everyday, it just keeps getting easier, bit chilly this morning, but lovely ride home.

Clear sky tonight, so I'll be watching out for penguins tomorrow.

First ride in this morning after a dose of man flu. 6c as I left home, but pretty toasty once I was half way in! Definitely getting towards woolly hat weather!

Not as cold as yesterday was a nice surprise, glorious early morning sun.

5 degrees - sunny, dry and breeze-free.

Tightening and greasing my headset has made a world of difference - all the clonking and chattering under braking has gone.

Happy days.

Foggy and cold this morning at 06:30, glorious blue skies and crisp sunshine at present though.

Had a slight tail wind on the way home and got the fastest run yet since starting to use Strava.

Windy this morning, a little bit warmer. My fast flat road was shut due a fatal car crash. Had to do a climb instead. Still recovering from a cold.

55mins. Now constantly paranoid I have another puncture

Yeh warmer today by a few C, I also overslept by half an hr, always results in a quicker ride in!

Bit grey and damp but warmer.

I suspect that the honeymoon period of riding to work everyday in the glorious early autumn sun is coming to an end.

Subject to riding home later today, I have ridden to work everyday for the last 3 weeks.

After a bout of man flu that could no longer be ridden through today was the first day I cycled in this week. Then cycled home ten minutes after arriving when I had a call from my daughter's school saying she was poorly and to collect her. Bah.

52mins. Windy. Had to stop for a cash machine, took a wrong turn x2.

Getting easier though I think.

Came in at lunchtime.

Amazingly warm. Shorts and short sleeved top.

I also took advantage of a westerly tail wind to knock a couple of minutes off my best time, increase my average to 14 mph dead and do 18 segment PB's on Strava.

Also have a series of near misses which increase with the square of speed.

Breakfast; porridge made with almond milk, honey and a banana
Lunch; 2 x poached eggs & mashed avocado on toasted ryebread

Get well soon.

I was knocked off last week but had a lucky escape with cuts and bruises.

My £2500 carbon bike wasn't quite so lucky.

Still cycling on my trusty old Defy.

Everyone still in shorts?

No idea why the picture is upside down!
