I wonder when they decided on the pricing? Rather surprising that Wiggins is one of the hot favourites, yet not one of the most expensive riders.

To be fair I think it's only the yellow and green jersey winners from last year who are priced higher. And anyone else think they need a budget of at least £40M to get the team they really want?!

I've dropped from 16th overall to 43rd today as I've delayed swapping my 'puncheurs' for 'sprinters' until after tomorrows up hill finish. Hope it pays off!

This could get addictive!
I'm a bit annoyed with myself as I didn't read the rules (typical!) and thought you only had 3 transfers for the whole TdF and so picked my team for the whole 3 weeks. Still, rules now read, team amended, currently joint 3rd on PH league (Scuderia Sci).

I'm hoping Cancellara has another go today.
The series of short climbs and technical descents towards the end certainly suit him and he seems the only rider willing and able to try and win for his troubled team.
Could be a re-run of stage 1 with EBH and Sagan but I expect Chavanel and Gilbert to have a go too.
Going to be the best stage so far anyway..
