Heads Up, The Cycle Show, tonight on ITV4 at 8pm.
Discussion
With this series they've definitely made an effort to squeeze as much into each show as possible.
Aside from maybe enough stuff on MTBs for my liking. The series has been one of the few things I watch on TV recently. What I liked was that all the presenters clearly ride bikes in their spare time by choice. None of the typical rent-a-presenta who only ride because they are on a bike show. I also have a small thing for https://twitter.com/AnnaGlowinski, only heighted by the fact she's from Croydon (is that a bad thing? )
Kudos also for using the Paralympic guy (with no body fat) to present a section. AND for not making a big thing of it.
I hope the series returns.

Rich, she certainly is nice. I was lucky enough to meet her a couple of weeks ago at streetvelodrome and spend time talking to her, when I was working for maddog. Shes just started a facebook page to track her months adventure through Europe riding enduro events. Think shes also blogging about it on the Mulebar girl website.
I won't hold being from Croydon against her.

Liking the look of Hardknott pass, heading up there in a couple of months, hoping a 39-26 will be enough as a lowest gear!
I do enjoy his commentary of the hills
Rather you than me! Highest gearing I've climbed it with was 34-25, although that was after 100 miles on The Fred. Coped better this year with a 28 cassette but that second 30% section is fking ridiculous!I do enjoy his commentary of the hills

I might end up doing Hardknott Pass twice next year as I am doing the Coast 2 Coast in a day and will try and get a place on the Fred Whitton!
Gulp!
Steve
Climbing it after 100 miles on the Fred is a proper test. I've been 'lucky' to get entry the last 3 years running and I'd estimate that only a third of riders manage the whole climb without stopping or walking. Good luck getting entry.Gulp!
