Only a few weeks ago, they finished another whole new section as well as improved other aspects. That mainly covers the freeride side of stuff. You now have a new trail which aims to keep you in the air more than on the ground and a section of jumps and drops for learning. i.e. starting small and progressively getting bigger.

If you park at the main car park, and head down the hill to the fire road, you will get to the downhill tracks. Climb to the top and that drop is there. I been going to chicksands for many years but still know less than half of it.

Was out across the northern edge of the Plain this evening, perfect cycling territory.. just avoid the deer, and most importantly, the tanks.

Little jaunt to Shaftsbury
Massive fail!

Front wheel far too big, no basket, and no loaf wink
[Yorkshire accent]Is that where it were filmed then, lad?[/Yorkshire accent]
Yup. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold_Hill,_Shaftesbur... Nowhere near Yorkshire, except in TV-land.

Hopefully this is a straight answer to a genuine question, but there's always a risk of a low flying parrot on PH wink
My home town, had a barny with a northerner when I joined up. He swore it was filmed near him "somewhere", I still have the postcard I had my girlfriend send to me to prove otherwise lol.

Drove up that road on my mini road trip last year. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and I had the road up to the Col du Galbier turning all to myself driving

Spent the morning at an old BMX track that I used to ride as a kid in the 80's and 90's. It hasn't changed a bit.

No that's the camera angle there is a narrow track there before it widens. Although there was never that much grass when I used to ride it years ago. Mind it used to be full of kids on bikes, not a person in sight all the time I was there.

Took the afternoon off yesterday, Cuckmere Haven on the way home.

The clifftop path is the footpath only last part of the South Downs Way. The lowest point of the cliffs in the pic is Birling Gap which has suffered about 7 years of erosion in the past couple of months, the beach access there is now closed.

Apropos of nothing, I am reliably informed that the Birling Gap hotel was a knocking shop in the 60's & 70's.
