Wow - I didn't know Chicksands had that sort of stuff. That looks ace.
Only a few weeks ago, they finished another whole new section as well as improved other aspects. That mainly covers the freeride side of stuff. You now have a new trail which aims to keep you in the air more than on the ground and a section of jumps and drops for learning. i.e. starting small and progressively getting bigger. If you park at the main car park, and head down the hill to the fire road, you will get to the downhill tracks. Climb to the top and that drop is there. I been going to chicksands for many years but still know less than half of it.

Anyone fancy a trip to Chicksands to get badly injured? I'm a bit worried to go on my own.

[Yorkshire accent]Is that where it were filmed then, lad?[/Yorkshire accent]Hopefully this is a straight answer to a genuine question, but there's always a risk of a low flying parrot on PH

Was it a turfed BMX track back in the day?
No that's the camera angle there is a narrow track there before it widens. Although there was never that much grass when I used to ride it years ago. Mind it used to be full of kids on bikes, not a person in sight all the time I was there.Took the afternoon off yesterday, Cuckmere Haven on the way home.
The clifftop path is the footpath only last part of the South Downs Way. The lowest point of the cliffs in the pic is Birling Gap which has suffered about 7 years of erosion in the past couple of months, the beach access there is now closed.
