Went for a quick ride at the weekend, I'm really struggling to find time to cycle as much as I'd like at the moment but views like this make me more motivated to try and find it.

Lippitt's Hill, overlooking Chingford Golf Course. It's a bit of a schlep to get there from SE1 but it looks like there are lots of different hills to play on if I can find the time for a 3 hour ride.

First proper ride on my new bike.

Didn't realise how unfit I was! Too long driving to work and sitting at a desk!!

Forgot how much I enjoyed riding, and really pleased with my bike (and my padded shorts!!)

Posted below has quoted me so i'll post another photo so you don't see my mug twice.

This was me today after riding the South Downs Way from Fareham to Eastbourne, only about 3 miles left to go at this point!

This was about 45 miles in!

A couple of us were riding the SDW from Winchester to Eastbourne yesterday, I spotted you a couple of times as we leapfrogged each other between Lewes and Alfriston.

Were you with the guy with the lefty by chance? Did you get lost at Alfriston as we stopped at the village shop and saw you go back, but was too late to shout to say "It's down there" Think I saw you on strava labs, must have had an early start as you were at Petersfield by the time I even left my house!

Yep, that was me and we yep lost track of the route slightly in Alfriston.
I knew that the official route goes through the centre of the village, so when the left over BHF signs took us out of it we turned round to find the bridge in the village.

We set from Winchester at 5am, so you're right, a bloody early start so we were utterly shattered towards the end(hence all the pushing)
