County Durham (start of the descent into Stanhope) yesterday on a very lumpy 66 mile ride (6000ft climbing). Some truly stunning scenery around here.

Another run round what is becoming a regular route for me with about 1000ft of climbing. I had one of those days when I felt on it & ended up with a bunch of PR's on Strava, mostly in the climbs.

Canoeing commitments meant being out the door for 6am for me to fit a ride in. Opted for a short loop to Chester (28 miles).

This is a view of the bridge over the Dee to Handbridge at 0700. Not many around at that time on a Sunday!

Good photo and good choice with the allez, I've just got one and loving it. Apart from the 2 clipped in falls I've had, one in a line of traffic sooo embarising especially when the woman with her kids in the car asked if was ok and then asked if I was sure lol.


Not really a today's cycle ride pic but not had the chance to get out on it for a few days.
