This is from yesterdays ride, but only posted today as I had to go to A&E after due to a dog bite.

I usually ride around the edge of this wood, but as the path was particularly muddy I decided to ride up the hill into the middle of the wood and down the other side, well worth the extra effort!

Just a short ride to the local park today to clear heads, my girlfriend joined me too, the first time she's ridden in town.
Nice ride on the Exe Estuary trails this morning.

Just a shame that so many road cyclists ride side by side virtually blocking the path until the very last second where they eventually pull in, avoiding a collision. Most of them look f
king miserable too, like they are being forced to ride.

I'm not a hard guy but I'm fairly weather hardened... however. You know it's time to turn for home when you've been on your arse on an icy climb, you can feel your bike moving around underneath you as you're pedalling. You can't feel your toes and you have frost forming on your gloves, scarf and jacket!!!
