Orange Demo night at Llandegla last night, three bikes, two decades, three wheel sizes later......

The Crush is a similar ride to my P7, albeit slightly stiffer in the frame.

The Segment was my first ride of a full susser and a 29er to boot. Good up the hill and super comfy on the descent.

Popped over to RP to try out Mrs Johnny's new GT Grade today

She got on really well with it considering she's only ever ridden a MTB previously. She loved how fast it was.

(I was quite pleased with that pic as I was riding and turning round to take it!)

There was celebratory cake

Lovely start to the day up here in Northumberland. Up at 6.30am and out by 7. Met a mate en route.
Pic is from Simonside hills looking north west. You can just see Rothbury down in the valley to the right.

The fun starts here. Well, it does if you're heading down over as we were today. Bit harder going the other way.

Crocknorth Road.

Olympic Road Race paint still on Box Hill.

Speaks for itself, really! I'm a big fan of the National Trust, too.

Big(ish) ride tonight, as I can't ride tomorrow. Took myself off to Box Hill via some of the other iconic climbs in the area, and back along a reasonably flat route to claw my average speed back up to something resembling respectable... https://www.strava.com/activities/310358720 ...a very enjoyable ride starting off in early evening, through the sun going down, and back home after dark. Tidy.

Nice ride yellow jack

Had a quick spin on the cross bike tonight to round off a solid 200+ week and took this picture which I thought was worth posting. I do love where I live

Passed a lot of people doing the tour of Wessex, needless to say I didn't go that far but my miles are starting to go up. 30 today around Stoke-Sub-Hambdon and Langport.

From a couple of days ago. Went over to bike park Wales on my first run down a blue route to warm up. I haven't got a clue how I managed to do it, just felt like the back brake was stuck on.

£100 lighter I was off again with a new brake though so all was good.

Not possible, I'm afraid. Sunday was a strictly non-cycling day. SlamDunk music festival, at Hatfield Uni, instead. I'd appreciate an invite if you do something similar again, though. So long as you don't mind bringing along a confirmed 'handbrake'.

Weekend in Afan for me and a few mates. Bit of carnage and weather was either amazing or completely crap. But we all had a great time.
