From Sunday Morning's ride, looks staged - it wasn't. He did wait for the photo to be taken though!

Love that.

Hang on, don't move, I just need to get the camera out.

Two of my favourite roads, but definitely in the car, rather than on the bike!
I had to drive past Glenshee to get to Braemar to ride the Lecht, the weather putting paid to my half plan of a Cairngorms loop on the bike. Driving back up and down the Cairnwell afterwards in a spirited fashion was the first time in years I actually enjoyed driving a car. Well, a V6 truck actually but it was still fun.

Generally how it goes on our rides.. I crashed in front of him a while back, first thing I hear is "yes got it on video" then "you ok man?" biggrin

A couple of days late and not my photo, but this seemed the most relevant thread to put it in.

That's my Scottish touring ended for this year, gotta drag my poor legs back to London for a slight change of scenery and a tad busier on Sunday!

If your legs are tired it must have been tough! Chapeau to you, sir.

And Chapeau to you and Ben too for reaching Scotland. I was starting to wonder what had happened to you - I hadn't seen an update to your Strava feed since you reached Whitby. How far to go now?

Only one ride of 75 miles left. We haven't had reliable WiFi since then and had a few bike issues on day 3 :/ just need the knees to hold out until the end!

One from the RideLondon route, this afternoon at Newlands Corner...

Even the footpaths and bridleways have notices of closure on them, where they cross the route.

Finally got the Trek out for a proper ride this morning! Got in a few hill repeats, got bored with that so carried on through to my normal 'shorter' route... Absolutely LOVING it! smile Going to order up a 70 or 75mm stem as it is a bit of a reach but other than that she's pretty much perfect out of the box! smile

Looking nice, Ben!

That's my red SL 6 (in the poor picture) in the post above. I'm starting to wish I'd had the balls to buy the green one now! I'd have had pretty much the same bike and saved a wad of cash too. Still, the red one is a great match for the PH riding kit wink

Much like you, I've decided it's just about perfect 'out of the box'. I don't even have the reach issue you do. I'd budgeted for a wheel upgrade, and some blingy bit'n'bobs to tart it up right from the start, but after a few miles on it, I decided that those 'upgrades' just wouldn't be value for money. Glad you're enjoying it!

I know I gushed about it in the other thread but that green Trek is wonderful. Boo to dull colours. smile
