I reckon it would be a good swoop on the way down too on a dry day.

Nothing wrong with a £50 Snotter, it's the joy of the ride that counts, enjoy it then enjoy seeing your bank account empty wink Some great locations by the way.
Exactly this I recently have got back into mountain biking( a few months now) got a bike at start for couple hundred pounds, cheap compared to many on here, but I am still having great fun and enjoying every minute of it. But as said the bank account seems to be empty more and more since the beginning smile

I'm another one on a cheap bike (well £350 is cheap in bike terms) as I didn't want to spend loads on a shiny new bike for it to sit in the garage. I've decided that if I reach my target of 2,015kms in 2015 I'll treat myself to a better bike.

Yeah fancied Little Switzerland for the scenery really - sounds like some good views as you ascend. Your routes look good - follow request on Strava has been slotted in.

I did sections of some hills (not Butser!) twice on the weekend- mate I was riding with hadn't been on a bike for 7 months, think it was a bit of a shock for him laugh
Not sure there's much in the way of views on the way up Little Switzerland as it's through the trees, nice when you get to the very top. It's a fun climb though, nice smooth tarmac and you can get a good rhythm going. I took a little spin out from work a few weeks back. Butser a bit too far for lunch! wink

Ha, yeah, I don't think even your lunch breaks can give you enough time to do Butser and back! Sounds like a nice climb, not many where you can get a good rhythm going our way.
