Forgot about this.

Popped to Richmond for a couple of laps with a mate on the 30th.

Was so windy he got blown clean off the road into the grass verge and hit the deck. Cue much laughter from me.

We then both nearly got blown off and huge speed wobble down the fast section of Sawyers. Not so much laughter that time.

Mate hit a pothole on his road bike yesterday, mate ended up in the hedge! This beast of a hole was at least 6 inches deep and he was lucky to only suffer a few cuts and a burst front inner tube! It has been reported to Devon county council!

It all started quite sensible, but I noticed a few muddy fields and footpaths, the clean up took me ages.

Sleet, then snow, then no snow, finishing up with some rain, with underlying tones of mud and slush at Glentress today. Great fun.

Had a flurry, thawing before 9am...

Had a visit from SixPotBelly, so we rode up and over to Beachy Head. Good fun even in the sloppy filth

Rather snowy at Glentress. Never had so much fun going so slow. Didn't even need to wash the bike/ gear after too. Win.

I've been a few times but honestly it gets a tad boring after a few laps seeing the same thing every 2.5 mins or so! At least with Richmond Park there's a relatively good variety in gradients.

Nice snowy/muddy ride with the Bike Beans gang, Ashtead. Can you spot the reason why my last 10km were hard work and my right leg aches?
