I love Lanzarote, next time I go I will make a point of hiring a bike.

I see you took the hard route back to Playa Blanca.....

Here one from today's ride around a blustery Cheshire.

Have you had to censored out 'something' from that picture? Or is the position of that smiley face just a coincidence?

Couldn't get out over the weekend so at 8ish last night I thought 'fkit, lets have a couple 'hours in the fading light of a summers evening!'

'Twas lovely out there, super quiet, and almost beautiful with the threat of rain looming in the distance! smile

Did a loop to Chester, then headed towards Holt Nr Wrexham, then home along my local lanes, 48 miles in all.

Stopped at my favourite cafe in Holt (Cleopatra's) for some breakfast...

Managed to get out for a short while to soak up some sun (and sweat alot). Not a bad view looking down into Holmfirth with Holme Moss in the back left.

If you note on my post on the previous page, I have gone for a more traditional "9 bar" number for my gate, in a weathered wood. This contrasts well with your galvanised example taken at a place I love.

I approve.

Ha ha ha, I must say your gate is quite superb and compliment the scene very well. Sometimes I can take the surrounding countryside for granted!

Cake! Did the Great Weston Ride today for 101km and this kept me going for the last 18 miles. Kudos to the bloke on a Brompton who did those last 18 miles only about five minutes slower than me. The ride was great and had a real mix of people and bikes.
