There were a few Bromptons and Terns etc, sure would have saved me some fuel costs not having 3 bikes up top biggrin
Nearly took mine, but wimped out when I looked at the elevation hehe

Sent an e-mail to my friends who work there to see if they would be for it as long as it doesn't clash with the BWC next year.

Radamring 2017 is on the same weekend (last in July) as this year.

Provisionally. Organisers will confirm date in November when the motorsport calendar is published.

Not into this roadie thing but that looks like a cool event.
There's a MTB route that runs at the same time. It does a little bit of the circuit where all the camping pitches are (our Neighbours were MTBers) then when the roadies head off onto the Nordschleife the MTB turn right into the woods and a 9km off road track coming out again just before the GP circuit starts.

All of us there this year are already talking about next year with even more teams of others interested. Get together a PH MTB team and the more the merrier.

We went and watched some of the MTB riders on the Saturday evening after dinner at the Pistenklause. The course was marked out by big candles, looked very surreal/cool.

Ride cut short after I ran out of water, 1 1/2 liters in 10km climb and no shops open in next village and the prospect of a further 20km climb in 37c without water. Going back to complete the loop on Monday, Languedoc is a great region, some fantastic cycling and going to give the Kayaking a crack in the week as well. Yesterday did a 60km loop of the Camargue, gravel tracks, road bikes and 40mph winds, it was utter hell.

Hard work today with what felt like a constant 20+mph head wind. Always enjoy seeing the Waltham Transmitter, it looks so out of place just sticking out the ground. Flipping huge when you get right up to it

Agree, it's a great place to ride. Get some decent elevation without killing yourself, but that wind...

20km climb at 5% yesterday, my first HC. Weather was considerably cooler and wind had dropped, pity in a way as the views from the top were not so great. Misses was only 12 minutes off the QOM and she took it really easy, tried to get her to go back tomorrow and have a crack at it but she told me to do one.

Absolutely fantastic area, quiet roads, most in great condition (although I have made a few errors and ended up on gravel tracks for a few miles). Wind is relentless and always against....

From the weekend, but this week has been crazy so first chance to upload:
London to Brighton in the sun. Followed the traditional route, lovely ride.

From the top of Ditchling Beacon, looking back to the North. Solid climb!

Not successful today gory content below

OTB which ended up with a broken collarbone, a completely fked shoulder and 12 stitches to reattach my ear to my head.
All on a gentle bimble round the woods rather than shredding a double black DH trail. Will be off the bike for a while - FFS.

Taken the other day at the lookout

When I bought the hat, it was described as mat red, which it looks like in the photo..... Yet it's neon orange!
