It was really nice light in the woods this morning, the photo doesn't really do it justice though:

One from the other night - at the top of one of the stages Ard Moors will be using. Anyone else from my neck of the woods looking for a riding partner? I'm riding solo! (Teesside)

First ride for me in four weeks, how my endurance has dropped, 40 miles felt like a slog at the end....

However a highlight was using my new bottles for the first time, as seen on the "what bike bits have you bought" thread.

A bargain-tastic 99p each inc postage.

Oh, and they match my bike to boot!

From my ride via Lettomanopello last week. Always good to know you're on the right road when you're climbing a mountain, especially as I had gone wrong twice in Lettomanopello already, one of which involved being chased by a bloody dog up the hill just as I shook it off I saw a sign back down the hill! It took several attempts to get me in the picture

Really enjoying off road currently (mostly a roadie)

Found this by-way on Sunday evening. My arms are shredded.

Great pictures! What is it about a Chinook?! Even my 21 year old daughter who is as modern / right on / pc as you can be, knows the sound of a Chinook!

I live under one of the transit routes between Middle Wallop and SPTA so Apache's are a regular over my back garden. Also under the approach to Boscombe Down so lots of varied activity. Add in some Tanks and Artillery regularly going past the front door and it's a Military enthusiasts heaven.

Great pics, I often try and get up onto the plains from Erlestoke to get some of the views, my road bike finds the gravel a bit much at times though.

Here's one from Castle combe last night..

Lived here for over 10 years and always wanted to see a full Sqn of Challengers on the move, was pretty epic.

Unbelievable how many frogs and toads, of all sizes, have been about at night over the last few weeks. Perfect weather for them. Some of the toads are bloody huge - bite your tyre off the rim!
