lol..haha...your car needs a "service"....
I used to ride with them a lot but I haven't been out with them for ages. Shift work and commuting by bike dented my enthusiasm for it. Looking at the FB group there's only a few I recognise now. lol..haha...your car needs a "service"....

I always get massive beard envry whenever Johnny posts one of his selfies
Well, I'm a beardy too but nothing on that scale. My wife took one look at J's pic and said "Yuk" putting to rest any thought I might have of cultivating something similar. This is all I can get away with:
I'm lucky that my wife would be most upset if i got rid of it. She seemed a bit miffed when I had a fair bit taken off last week!

I particularly love it when it's long enough to "grab". It happens occasionally, when I am too lazy to acquiesce to her demands for a trim.I'm lucky that my wife would be most upset if i got rid of it. She seemed a bit miffed when I had a fair bit taken off last week!
Men weren't designed to live with women, were they?

wwow kind of odd, but beautiful! Is the track busy?
Yes, quite a few people around yesterday. It has a running path next to it as well. No cars, so it's ideal to smash some fast laps in.If you don't know Dubai, there is also a full 120km cycle track out in the desert as well called 'Al Qudra'. Not flood lit however. Very busy on a weekend.
Pic taken a few weeks back:-

Sod self-editing for a game of soldiers. I binned what I felt weren't worthy of inclusion, but was still left with a load of photos I wanted to post. Sorry, but here goes...
T'other night up on Long valley, Aldershot, exploring. This taken after sunset, looking down toward Farnborough Airport.
Oh deer, oh deer, oh deer! This trio were on the gravel road I was cycling on when I first spotted them. I was entertained watching them bounce across the frosty field away from me...
...then they crossed back over the road ahead of me, and up the hill to some woodland.
Very atmospheric this morning at about 0830hrs. The frost was starting to melt as the sun rose in the sky, and a mist rose into the air over the fields. Great to be able to be out and about so (relatively, for me) early.
I found a completely new (to me at the very least) section of trail in an area I've known for nearly thirty years. Climbing it was a struggle in places, as the sun was shining straight into my eyes and the were fallen logs across the trail. Better to ride it down the way I reckon!
Another view of this new section of trail. Looking into the sun without shades on is not the greatest of ideas. Probably best climbed later in the day when the sun is higher in the sky.
Eventually the path turned away from the sun, and it was flatter and smoother, with fewer fallen logs to manual over. Trying to manual over slippery fallen logs up hill into the sun on a segment you've never ridden before was challenging to say the least. Mental note made to seek it out again though.
Frost melting into dew on spider webs and dry grass. Particularly beautiful out there this morning with the rising sun backlighting nature like this.
I love how the long shadows thrown by the low sun pick out the detail in the trail across this grassy field. This will all go to st in a couple of weeks when it gets used as the car parking area for the Gorrick/Merida Brass Monkeys round 2 race. It'll recover though. It always does!
Toward the end of the ride I get to ride past Hawley Lake. It's absolutely beautiful when it's as still as this. Very little in the way of wind this morning. I bumped into my lovely next-door neighbour there this morning, she was out walking her utterly bonkers but ever so cute dog, but he kept on disappearing and having to be called back. "Squirrel!"
Sorry to lob so many photos onto the thread all at once, but these are all from this morning, except the first one which was last night. Not only was it lovely out, but I had company from a new ride buddy I met through Strava and I nicked a cheeky KOM too, which meant I had an even bigger smile on my face when I got in and uploaded the ride... https://www.strava.com/activities/808551675

That is an outstanding photo! Must be a good photographer...
Hello, didn't know you were on here to.
Hello, been on here much longer than Reddit though :-D Hello, didn't know you were on here to.
It was taken by my mate using his iPhone - I was impressed as well, makes my Samsung phone/camera look rubbish.
Wrong guess, I'm the photographer... We'll do another early morning ride when my knee's up to it.
