If anybody wants my charity space let me know as I shall not be using it.
No longer cycling? Is this a temporary thing? What is the reason behind the decision, appreciate if its personal reasons you may not want to disclose but I hope it's just a short term thingIf anybody wants my charity space let me know as I shall not be using it.

Got rejected and a nice top as well
I know it's a bit
controversial but if you enter on a charity spot, do you have to raise the whole amount requested ? And what happens if you don't ?!
Depends on the terms and conditions, some charities make you pay the difference, others don't but bear in mind that you've effectively taken a place from someone who could have raised the full amount requested. I know it's a bit

Charities have to pay for the spaces and they aren't as cheap as you'd think, then there is all the admin costs associated with your entry. I've volunteered at a few events for various charities and speaking to the staff is an eye opener. Often the amount raised by the entrant, I'd it's below the minimum requested, isn't enough to cover the cost of the place and the other charges and the charity lose money, don't buy places next year as a result and lose the potential income.
If you're not prepared to pay the minimum requested amount either through sponsorship raised or your own money, you should think twice before entering through a charity. It's an ok event but really not worth this level of hyperbole.
