Spotted some mental person riding down the A30 just after Bagshot heading to Sunningdale this morning wearing a PistonHeads jersey.
As I passed I tried to give a gentle bib on the horn, but it got stuck (first time that has ever happened )
I was in the VW Crafter
Try posting that in here... http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... ...as you are more likely to get a response from the 'mental person' As I passed I tried to give a gentle bib on the horn, but it got stuck (first time that has ever happened )

PH Jersey spotted in Abbeywood Piazza enjoying sunshine and coffee!
That would have been me I was (as usual) still wearing my cycling gear having arrived at 9am this morning...
There are a few of us here - pablo of this parish is in 1300 and I imagine a few others.
We should do an ABW PH ride out one day!

That's usually me most days as well to be fair! Like the sound of an ABW Ride out! I was (as usual) still wearing my cycling gear having arrived at 9am this morning...

Bald guy on a very quiet (must be electric or even hybrid) vehicle, only saw 2 wheels but there must have been some more on the other side.
Only noticed him as he was inexplicably wearing tight lycra, sporting a number of Pistonheads logos!
On the road between Ripley and Send by the motorsport garage.
Anyone going to own up to that???Only noticed him as he was inexplicably wearing tight lycra, sporting a number of Pistonheads logos!

Hello! Sorry I didn't recognise you - please don't take offence! Although I feel I have to correct you- it was not a L2B it is my Prudential London top (same charity though obviously). We will have to meet up for a beer as you mentioned a few days ago.
Having said all that I have a spot of my own. Last night whilst riding up Oxford / Frieth Road in Marlow I did see a particularly sluggish PH'er making heavy work of a slight incline. I shouted some abuse in your general direction.
Would said rider who clearly has put the PH cycling fraternity with his rather relaxed attempt at cycling to shame make himself known? He struck me as the sort of person who probably drives a TVR. Looks good but looked like he was on the verge of conking out....

Not particularly, was walking next to the beach away from the finish line with bike back towards the town through the crowd.
Would have said hi but was with the family and girlfriend
That was probably me, I'd finished ahead of the rest of my team and was trying to locate them by the big wheel thingWould have said hi but was with the family and girlfriend

So you were the chap that went past me then promptly blew up and allowed me to catch you back and overtake! I did wonder if it was you. Have you not progressed from your super wide training tyres onto adult tyres yet? They must have been at least 35 profile! I also noted that you were not riding aero wheels so you must also be a eunuch!

Only eunuchs buy non aero wheels.
At least I was riding proud in my PH Top! Unlike someone who took all the time and effort to organise it then promptly are never seen in it!Gassing Station | Pedal Powered | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
