Ouch. Especially on the aero wheels as well.

That has to be the greatest come back since the Comeback Kid came back.

Swerni, no need to be ashamed of your follicular dedication to aero.

Hello! Sorry I didn't recognise you - please don't take offence! Although I feel I have to correct you- it was not a L2B it is my Prudential London top (same charity though obviously). We will have to meet up for a beer as you mentioned a few days ago.
None taken, I was on a bit of a mission to get to M'head bridge as I had arranged to meet a friend there for a bimble into Windsor - then promptly decided to take the long route from Binfield via the Chilterns and was once again running 20 mins late!

Given my current issue with timekeeping when we finally do manage to arrange a beer expect to be three parts to the wind by the time I turn up!!

Spotted a PH jersey this afternoon near Newbury, climbing out of Curridge and then getting stuck with the cars queueing through the traffic calming measures in Cold Ash. It was annoying in a car (I was in the black DCA Saab courtesy 9-5), at least doubly so on a bike!

Spotted one last night in Long Eaton, you were pulling onto Derby Road near College Street on a red road bike.

I was behind you in a black SAAB 9-3 but didn't fancy pipping as I went past for fear of scaring you off the bike.

Saw someone this morning in a black/white/yellow shirt (about 10:15am) on the road above Box Hill cafe. I was on an MTB heading the other way, about to drop into the trail opposite Smith and Western. Hope you had a good ride.

Well hi to you Bollah, and at least you were out on the bike in the sunshine. Coldharbour Lane is a tough slog at times, but all of the Surrey Hills do get easier with practice. Good luck with it all.

Fun, but bloody hard work!! My hands and wrists are still numb and I have a huge bruise across the bottom of my back but I would do it again tomorrow - absolute scream! I also managed to perfect getting the thing onto 2 wheels on a couple of the sharp corners which seemed to be a bit of a crowd pleaser!

Only thing I don't understand is that we held 3rd place for the entire race, but were placed 11th at the end despite the fact we had lapped the guys who were placed 3rd twice! I think it is because we were not allowed to turn the number 13 upside down......

Thanks! We did have Darren Kenny OBE on the team which helped - but I was defo the fastest on our team, saw 20mph!! wink

Yup, apparently I overtook in the pit lane - personally don't remember it but I did make quite a few overtakes so I guess it could have happened! I really enjoyed the corners, I managed to perfect 2 wheel cornering which seemed a bit of a crowd pleaser!! I managed to see 20 mph on the speed camera which took a fair amount of effort!!

Spotted this morning - A329, just by the Merc garage, going towards Bracknell. I was in a green mx5 in the daily traffic jam.

Spotted this morning, Junction Road Norton - around 09:30.

Stopped for brief chat. Sorry forgot your name. Heart powering lungs not brain!

Two PH shirt wearers on the same road. What are the odds of that happening?!

byebye That would have been me - as you say, it's a small world!

I realised after I'd left that I was a second batch too - my head wasn't all there either! I kind of wish I had managed to get myself out of bed earlier so that I was heading back when you were to be honest as it just got muggier and muggier!

Spotted yesterday at about 1630 on the A4177 between Chadwick End and Wroxall, a lone cyclist in PH jersey.
