rather than heading to brands from eynsford on that ride you posted, turn right, and go to Ide hill via shoreham - you'll love it!

If we have the legs for it I'd like to do Ide Hill on the way back from Brighton this weekend.

Rode into London on Saturday to 'escort' a couple of friends in preparation for the Pru 100 and ended up doing some of the Freeride before riding back out home - about 105 miles and no spotted so here's one of my own!

I was there wearing mine smile halfway up the hill in Wimbledon and a spectator shouts "come on piston heads! Keep going!" biggrin

Cycled from Wookey Hole in Somerset to Binfield in Berkshire on Friday along the A365 and A4 and didn't get a single spotted - despite seeing a bunch of TVR's in convoy through Marlborough and countless 'interesting' cars on the roads!

Hi MadDad, I rode in with Rob_T and he mentioned about seeing you on odd occasions - we met probably about 1yr ago near the top of Dolesden/Christmas Common/Pishill type area. I too saw some nice Maserati, Ferrari, Aston and others - can't say I say any TVRs sadly!

Yup - I remember, we really should arrange a casual spin around the Chilterns with coffee and cake in Henley or Marlow!

Always surprises me that we don't get more attention with the PH jerseys, I stopped at the lights in the middle of Twyford a few weeks ago beside a Focus RS with a huge smilie on the rear window, gave the driver a thumbs up and pointed to the smilie on my sleeve and he still looked perplexed!

We stopped in Staines on the way home and a random chap asked me about the jersey - where did I get I get it from etc... He had been into engines his whole life and really liked the crossed pistons! Sadly I don't think we'll see him cycling any time soon! No other notable mentions, shouts, etc et - shame as I think they look really good! Bring on the new red ones. If it arrives in time I'll be wearing it up and over the Pyrenees in 3 weeks time!

Hi to the chap who I rudely forgot to ask his name that I met on the Mall at just after 1pm on Sunday.

I saw another guy a little later on Constitution Hill also but couldn't get to him to have a chat.

Another hello to the gent at Victoria Station after the event. Sorry not to have been wearing mine but Team Skoda commitments meant we were all in uniform. I'll wear it next time though!

Cheers,

Dan

Well, after being a PHer for quite a while now, I have only just discovered the pleasures of the Pedal Powered forum. My own fault entirely!

The above is made worse by the realisation that I would certainly have ordered one of the new jerseys had I stumbled on the forum last month. I'll say "hello" to anyone I spot wearing once (I ride mainly around mid to north Essex, striking out from my Great Waltham home, but also do a few sportives including some in Devon). The jerseys look great and are a reminder that being a cyclist and a petrolhead are not mutually exclusive - far from it.

I'll look out for the next order run, but judging by the enthusiasm on here, it wouldn't be difficult to sell a lot more. There's no need to wait until 2015 is there? Hint, hint.

I think there's probably enough demand pent up for a long-sleeved jersey in a Roubaix winter fabric in a month's time.
