PH Cycling Jersey - Spotted

Spotted at approx 17:00 riding west on Crondall Lane towards Well. Only noted the Pistonheads shirt at the last minute otherwise there'd have been an enthusiastic shout of 'Pistonheads'. It looked like a nice, new, shiny red bike.......now who has one of those !!
https://www.strava.com/activities/280511295Hello! That could well have been me. Overdressed in long sleeve PH jersey, long trews, and full finger gloves, and wishing I'd raided the "summer" bike kit box?
Lots of folk out today, and I tried to give a wave or a greeting to all of them. Were you on a bike or in a car?
I felt really sorry for a chap called Andy, who was with a group of MTBers on the run down to Froyle/Bentley. "Come on Andy!" was the shout, as he caught up to where the rest of the group were taking a breather. Then as soon as he arrived, they upped and left, leaving him at least 500 metres back, and taking a turn (at a junction) without him in sight. Poor bloke was breathing through his arse trying to catch up, too.
Lovely day for cycling, though. Apart from the fact that I may well have overdone it today. I should really take it a little easier, and build up slowly to bigger rides, but the new Trek is soooo comfortable over distance. Even the BDSM saddle, which I thought I'd hate, is OK.

I was marshalling at Keswick, Didn't see him though - was pretty busy at some points though!
Weather wasn't the best
I wonder if he spotted my car (& smiley sticker) parked by my marshal point.Weather wasn't the best
Yeah it was a touch blowy, even more so now! Hopefully better when I do it next year, might have to get some PH kit for it :-).
Did you have a load of sporty cars come past your spot? We did. Right mixture, including a Lambo, TVR, Jag, can't remember exactly what else other than some Focus STs, RSs, GTRs etc.

Think I spotted a PH jersey doing the Fred Whitton this morning - I was marshalling at Lorton.
Could have been me. That Morton to Calder Bridge leg was murder due to the rain and headwind. I was in black tights and a black helmet riding a white Giant. And I course barrelling along

Yeah sounds right, I'd have shouted a hello but you were pretty much past by the time I spotted the top, plus that first junction in Lorton isn't the best. I was in black tights and a black helmet riding a white Giant. And I course barrelling along

I regularly ride over Cold Fell to Calder Bridge on my commute and a headwind makes it such hard work.

Guaranteed place I was told by the organiser this morning...
I take it you're local? Might have to get some training rides in together and form team PH for the day.
I live in Windermere, only just started road riding in March but do a lot of mountain! Getting fitter though - got a year to get ready...I take it you're local? Might have to get some training rides in together and form team PH for the day.
