Corrr, its been a while since anyone spotted a PH jersey.

Anyway, a "sort-of" spotted. Picked my bike up from Griffs (Crowthorne) earlier, which prompted me to look at their facebook page, saw this pic:

Who's that then?
That would be me. smile

Yes, it was me! I did see a white VXR8 but didn't notice the occupants. Think that's my first "spotted"!
Funnily enough, I had just been on the Griffs shop ride for the first time (in the end there was only 3 of us, including the guy from Griffs)

biggrin

Did you enjoy the ride? I'm assuming it was Kevin who you went with? My wife and I will probably head out on a Griff's ride again at some point soon but at the moment we've not got a Saturday free. frown

Is Kevin the chap with black hair? He was there, but said he couldn't do the ride - they delegated it to a young guy called Eric (I think) who's quite new working there, but he did a good job.
Yeah, wasn't a bad ride - some of the roads were my usual local routes, but a few that I didn't know. Barely ridden in the past month due to illness, but it was a gentle pace so I managed to keep up.
I'll try and do more, but saturdays are busy for me too, and the winter timing (11-1pm) isn't great.

Kevin does indeed have black hair (he also owns the shop). He typically used to take the rides during the summer.

I passed someone in a longsleeve PH jersey last week, Thursday IIRC. Near Winchfield, Hants.

LOL, I think it was a road or hybrid. To be fair I was worrying a bit as I had lost all my braking power. Ive put it down to, in the morning, going through a puddle with a rainbow on it that was stinking of diesel. I arrived at the camp gate with levers to bar, feet on the floor (old style), passing the gaurd and nearly hitting the barrier!

PH Jersery spotted this morning coming down Froyle Road, you were in a group of 4. I was heading up the hill towards The Golden Pot with a mate.

Good spot - that'd be me in my MTB top smile We were on a 40 mile loop heading down to Frensham Pond - was actually just 3 of us out but were joined by someone for the descent into Lower Froyle. Were you the chap on the road bike with Zipps or the fella on the hybrid ? I remember thinking glad I was on my way downhill rather than u guys climbing up as i came past smile Lovely morning to be out - shame the rest of the Easter weather looks a bit pants.

I was on the hybrid. A short training ride, mainly of hills, for our Le Mans trip in June.

Yes, raining today, likely tomorrow and Monday too frown

Yep, that was me. Just getting back in the saddle after long layoff following injury/illness. Very unfit and even slower than before. frown
