One today at the Pateley Bridge round of the Yorkshire Cyclocross Summer Series, not really a surprise though as I knew Steve VRS was coming anyway...

Hi Gary. PH top on to register, the club top on to race. Hard going today, TTing is no preparation for CX racing!

A spotted a chap in red/black/white PH top last night at about 7pm going over the bridge over the rail tracks in Fleet. On a blue/white frame leading a group of 8-10.

That was me. smile I was indeed leading the group and we were just cutting through Fleet as we'd set off from Yateley.

Last Friday (22nd) Red jersey out with what I can assume was his missus on the junction of the Havant to Chichester back road and Emsworth.

If not his missus, he won't be identifying himself on a public forum!

I'm often wearing mine around Swinley on the MTB, probably the only one wearing a roadie top!
Also regularly wear it when running around Camberley, they make good running tops due to the pockets

Were you wearing a head torch and have lights on your valves?

I regularly wear my yellow trimmed Owayo top on the MTB - I've lost weight since the purchase so it's a little looser than is ideal on the road bike, but not flapping about and irritatingly loose. Just right for MTBing and I've been up to Swinley myself once or twice recently.

I wore my old 'regimental' Lycra a couple of times recently, but PH gear is pretty much my default bike wear these days. A lot of the cheap "starter" Lycra I used to wear is scruffy now, or zips are knackered, so it's either been binned or is close to it.

'Magic' colour-changing LED lights? And a head torch with a red lens? Why I think that might be me you are describing. I hope I was behaving properly and not being a dick. I was nowhere near either the start or the end of the RideLondon event though.

My ride started just after 2:00pm, Farnborough to Ripley via Brookwood and Send. Then I followed the southern part of the RideLondon route, got caught at the A25 after Leith Hill, waiting for the pro peloton to clear off, then followed behind them as far as Kingston. There, I joined the 'out' route back to Ripley and home again. A good chunk at the end was done in the dark so I'm glad I put those childish LED valve lights on to brighten things up a bit, and to use up some of the 40 LR1130 batteries I bought ahead of my aborted Dunwich Dynamo plan. Home by around 10:20pm... https://www.strava.com/activities/660170513

Edit: I think it was you who recommended CPC for those batteries. Good call, thanks! I ordered more than I needed to meet the free delivery threshold (it made sense when I did the maths) and they were delivered far faster than I expected.
