Just arrived. Fits perfectly. The arms seem to be about an inch and a half longer than my castelli jerseys for the same body length. My size six has a similar fit to a castelli large.

On that note, I've spent a lot of time chatting to numerous suppliers over the past two months. I've met several and have had a few sample kits off them for testing. I'm hoping I can improve the current quality without affecting the price. Personally I'd quite like to have a proper pro-fit PH jersey. Aero fit, mesh panels for breathability, better fabrics etc.

All suppliers still offer the sport cut for those looking for something more relaxed for commuting, MTB and beer belly coverage. These are all much of a muchness but mixing this in with something a bit more performance based for those that are keen would be nice if I can achieve it.

I am with you on the race-fit, I hate having clothing flapping around when I am on the roadie so all of my stuff is close/race fit.

I bought the Rapha race-cape in the sale at the start of the summer, thanks to the recent showers I have had a chance to wear it a few times in the past week and it's just about perfect! Slim/race cut, tailored for the drops and made of breathable but waterproof 3 ply fabric harvested from mermaids (I made the mermaid bit up). Expensive in the sale, stupidly expensive at retail prices but an excellent bit of kit with the perfect cut!

I have that too and agree it's a great fit. I was a bit weirded-out at how short it was at the front when I was trying it on but once you get into riding position you realise it's perfect.

I've just been out for a short test ride with the new winter jersey. It's definitely a warm one!

Mine arrived. Nice snug fit with or without an UnderArmour ColdGear base layer on underneath. No need for a size 8, although it would no doubt fit just fine.

Next? Judging demand, I think next is a summer jersey and possibly arm warmers (for those crisp spring rides). Plan would be a run that includes 'sport cut' and a high performance race-fit jersey. I'm looking to work up a new design, something minimal, understated and classy.

Spring is peak time for manufacturers so the lead times are longer and for an April delivery we need to be placing the order 8-10 weeks earlier.
