That's the race cut stuff, which is snug to say the least. I'd like a bigger smiley but their artwork templates have safe zones for the smaller sizes which means this was as big as we could go. The quality is first rate. It's a match for the Rapha bits that I have.
I fear I may need to work harder at losing some weight if they are as snug as you say. I've got everything crossed now, hoping that the bib shorts'll fit if nothing else will. The one pair I've got now are taking a bit of a hammering lately.

Cheers for the updates, and all the work you've put into this order Gruffy!

Looking forward to getting my jerseys! Shame I won't have my free ride one in time for a local MTB Challenge! Cheers again Gruffy for sorting all this out!

I've just nipped out for a test ride in the new PH bibs and jersey and managed to shave 4% off my lap time around Richmond Park. https://www.strava.com/activities/295936463/ That's how aero this kit is*

*May also be a result of Tour training and this being my first RP lap on the Aeroad.

New kit always makes you go more quickly. Why do you think the pros have all new gear? Scientifically proven.

this may not be true

I can sympathize with you thoughts here. I have a nice forward of center gravity point at the moment. Whilst I'm convinced it helps aero*, kneeing yourself in the gut doesn't make you feel great when riding

Update

The delivery hasn't really gone to plan. The shipment has arrived from Belgium but is missing the Freeride jerseys. I'm chasing BioRacer but have no information to report yet. They knew we were working towards a major event and needed everything by the end of April, so the pressure is on for them. I won't be mentioning that it was only the Tour kit with a firm deadline.

The split delivery has borked my mailing plan. I did have a mailing company helping with logistics but with half the order delayed the job is too small for them. The deadline for the Tour kit looms large though so I've arranged myHermes to collect what's available tomorrow on a 2 working day service, expected to hit most doorsteps on Thursday.

Anybody with an order containing a Freeride jersey won't be in this mailing run, except those with Tour jerseys who obviously need them asap. In that case the Freeride kit will be sent on separately when it arrives.

I must also publicly apologise to Johno who's order I appear to have ballsed up. He was due some M bib shorts and somehow I've ordered XXL when the form went in. I also have arm warmers (L) and a Smiley Bodyfit Jersey (XL) left unaccounted for. I'll sit on these until it all pans out.

I'll update again as soon as I have anything to relay.

Would it be possible to come down pick up from you in person instead? I'm sure the chance of Hermes taking longer than contracted is quite low, but if they cocked up it would be a real kicker to receive the Tour jersey on Monday 11th. Especially when I'm not that far away.

If you prefer, of course. I'm in Bermondsey, near London Bridge. I work from home but am constantly flitting about for meetings. Drop me a note and we'll figure out a reliable time.

Excellent. If you could pull mine from the pick up batch and I'll come down by super Synapse in the week. I'll mail you to check when would suit.

Many thanks!

I'm thinking Tues or Weds. Could always make it Monday if you don't mind me interrupting your bank holiday briefly.

edit - or even Sunday in the car if it's too wet to club ride without mudguards.

I really don't have much on, do I?

What size are you? You never know, someone may find they don't fit theirs and offer it up for resale.

There's bound to be a few that have been a little ambitious on the number of pies they can squeeze in a jersey smile
