I have a reasonable track record with this kind of thing but I'm rather busy at the moment. Easiest thing would be to pick an organised sportive and just rendezvous for that - pay our £30 for somebody else to tackle the organisation.

There was a PH cycle weekend last year, in North Wales. I wasn't involved, so forget who organised it.

It was well under way this year too, but fell apart when too few people confirmed an interest, so that the finances didn't work out. I think we're just too disparate a group, so although it's easy to get initial interest, it's hard to organise something that everyone can fit in around their 'normal' life. See also the plan for a big PH presence at the Help for Heroes 'Hero Ride' earlier in the year. It's tough to get these things off the ground when 'real life' keeps getting in the way.

In that case, perhaps let's stick to a one-day ride. No accommodation necessary. Either pick a sportive or do something like L2B (or the old Dash for the Coast hoon route to Hayling Island) and then as long as we get one or two people it happens. No hassle if people drop out or turn up at the last minute.

That'd probably gather a bit of momentum so that we can do something a bit more substantial next time around. I may have a cunning plan.

So, reading back through this thread (ok not all of the thread but back to early April anyway) these are the names I've got (and numbers of items required) for the shirts. I have all the details somewhere in my e-mail in box from Rob_T regarding the previous design which, and i can only speak from myself here, i rather like.

Please let me know if I've missed anybody off. As for sizes, I've no idea so maybe we can all copy and paste this list with sizes and put a cut off date on it all for say, end of July?

We'd obviously have to factor in how the shirts get from me to all of you, so maybe I'll add a little to each shirt for postage?
And if you've said yes to this, please come up trumps with the money.

ATM we're quite short (about 50%) of the order required to make it cheep enough (roughly £30+) per shirt if my memory serves me correctly as i can't access my personal e-mail here in work.
