How big is the large? I have an unworn roadie one in large and it's waaaaay too tight across my shoulders/back/chest. I ain't no powerfully built director just a symptom of today's 'me' generation

I have a 2017 Pistonheads MTB jersey (short sleeved) size large that is too big for me. It has been worn once since getting it....Its way too big for me!

It’s one of the original red and black short sleeved ones. What’s the difference between mtb and road?
