1 All time fastest list for 10 (sub 19 min) and 25 miles (sub 50 min).
This ^ kind of thing is just making some of us look bad... Isn't PH for Fat burger eating company directors? ;-) (Very impressive goals BTW Okgo!)

I have some humble goals.
1. Ride a respectable century. (What is respectable?)
2. Set 10mph average up my local torture hill, currently at 9mph.
3. Invest in a Bike fit
4. Get closer to (under?) an hour for my regular training route, currently 1:05.
5. Loose another 4kg in the process, lost 6kg in last 12months :-)

Its all very well setting them as goals, but I do have to achieve them to deserve any credit smile

Mind you I only need to find 13 secs to do the 10 goal, so should be possible, a chap I ride with thinks I could go sub 18 at some point, but I really don't know about that, only two people have done that, Wiggins and Michael Hutchinson.

For 2014 I want to get back to riding at least 400 miles a month. I was doing about 500 miles a month throughout last winter, spring and early summer. It kind of dropped off in late summer and I haven't ridden distances in a couple of months now. All I'm doing now is riding to and from the station at the moment, 2 miles each way. I intend to shed 8kgs next year to get down to 85kgs, I was 87kgs at the beginning of this summer and I've let it slip which isn't good.

Also, I'll be taking my son to most of the ERRL Championship races (Eastern Road Race League) throughout next year as he's joining a team who compete in this series. I also think he'll be competing in the National Junior Series which should be interesting and give him a good base to have a good go at the National Junior Series for 2015 as he will be in his last junior year in 2015.

I don't have many.

Get down to 80Kg and reward myself with a new bike
Rebuild the current Giant using a Ribble carbon frame
I shall hopefully crack 4000 miles this year, so it would be nice to achieve 5k next year
Manage the big the climb on the PH Cycling weekend with out stopping or walking.

The only 2014 events I have signed up for are the UKCE April New Forest Sportive and Tough Mudder. I did a cycling challenge last year. Not sure what to do next year. Maybe a hilly 100m sportive??

True but assuming they are attainable its impressive, especially to norms like me that are pleased when they do 10 sub 30min :-)
(My defense is, its hilly down here)

Stop taking things so seriously and focus, or rather unfocus to just enjoy my riding again.

Just one real cycling one for me this year:

Sub 6 hour bike split at IMUK this year.

I guess it would be nice to get a couple more 10 miles TTs under my belt, and see a 300watt FTP too.

How old are you, OkGo? Pretty impressive I hope you do well.

Suspect you'll be racing against a few lads I know this year, maybe me in one or two if I cba travelling that far.
26.

I wish I'd started earlier ha
Don't be silly, there are riders in their 40/50's that are super fast, 26 is very young smile

2. Fingers crossed for a solid winter
3. Have more than one race and place in top 3
4. Not be so stressed/serious as it's only club sport and meant to be a fun hobby
5. Buy an old single seater and start racing again ( opps wrong thread ) ha ha

Cheers

1. Keep motivation up over winter
2. Get out to the Alps/Pyrenees for a few weeks in the summer
3. Do a couple of local races abroad
4. More interval training
5. More road racing
6. Vary my riding and be more versatile
7. Get enough points for 2nd cat
8. Top 30 finish in Rad am Ring (3rd year with our current 'mixed ability' team)
9. Try not to get too obsessive
10. Enjoy myself and try to stay out of trouble
11. Avoid spending money on upgrades

38 years old, I figure I'll go at it hard this year and then focus on losing my hair, putting on weight and buying a more expensive bike afterwards :-)

Nobody said that creating the perfect flapjack was easy!

My aim for 2014 is simple and that is to beat(pulverise) Pablo in the PH ultimate flapjack competition.

I've already invested in the latest titanium utensils and bought the sufferfest video of Nigella Lawson!!
