Not surprisingly, these show up quite often in pictures posted in this section. nta16 I'm looking at your GT6 in BV's thread. How do they manage to look good, seemingly, on anything made before about 1980?

Hillman Imps and Hunters, Triumphs, Volvos, Fords, BMW 2002s. They just look so right. Please post your pics of minilites looking good on older cars here.

Or if you disagree jump in with both boots.

I'm not convinced they look right on anything other than a Mini.

Sorry paperbag

I agree, and they look good in whatever colour too. (silver, grey & black) I'm planning to replace my annoying chrome wires with them at some point!

Minilites, steels, rostyles, love em. I can't understand desire for wires however.

I bought an ex-rally service barge (as they were called then) in 1976, which was a Mk3 Zodiac estate with a 3.5 Rover V8 and genuine Minilite wheels.
Cost me a right royal £250 all in with a knackered diff, bought another diff for £5 from the scrapyard.....

Another reason they look good is that they don't rely on the modern trend for low profile tyres, you can keep the same diameter (ok, maybe +1") and still be a big improvement.

All creatures great and small. Minilites suit 'em all.

Thanks for the examples above, there are some lovely ones.

Have always had a penchant for Riley 1.5's. Your car, RB, looks gorgeous in her Powder/Wedgewood Blue Couture and shod in Minilites. Thank you for posting the photo'.

Hi Greg,
all the minilite wheels I've had on my classics and many you normally see are not originals but copies

I'm with you I think minlite and their copies generally look good on classics but I still much prefer the look of steel wheels with chrome hub caps
