May 18 - Garmin Velothon Berlin

July 20 - Evans RideIt Cambridge (back at home for me)

August 10 - RideLondon (again, can't decide whether to go full out or savour it more this time round)

Want to find something in June & September but it's mostly a case of finding a free weekend!

Not sure which route 56 or 72.

When I get a chance I will try to put last years route here if anybody is interested. Some decent PH roads on it!

That's what I was thinking, preferably some really really big riders we can hide behind...

Much the same plan as us then!

Reckoning on a 4am wake-up call to get ourselves sorted out. We're staying in Maastricht so a 30 minute drive to get down to Liege.

Am sure you will spot me labouring up a climb (or just in general) in PH jersey

I am signed up for the Pilgrims Hospice 100 mile ride from Canterbury but there are also 75 & 50 mile options.
All proceeds go directly to the charity as it is run entirely by volunteers, it's the friendliest, best run sportive that I do each year, not to mention mountains of free food at each of the 3 stops....

Feckin 'ell, that was as I thought - a bloody long day.

But also a bloody brilliant one! Even more respect for what the Pros do now.

Agreed, brilliant tough day, looks like we were fairly close together at times (especially after we got a bit lost at the start)

Ah nuts, I was keeping an eye out for a PH jersey as well. If I'd have spotted you I'd have said hi.

They do organise these things properly in Belgium don't they.

Great ride, don't bother with sportives in the UK but I think I'll be doing more on the continent if they are like this.

I'll reiterate that. Great value for money, and we got a bit lucky with the weather! We stayed in Liege, on the river, which meant a 1000ft climb to the start. I'll never consider Belgium flat again.
