I was thinking the Prezzo in Buckingham http://www.prezzorestaurants.co.uk/restaurant/buck... would be the easiest option for a big table. Show of hands for an 8pm table please?

You could mention it to him - I hadn't bothered, seeing as my objective with this one is to shepherd my mate round, rather than work at a decent pace.

Actually, thinking about it, that does sound like Edd's cup of tea after all wink

I've booked the table for 8 people at 8pm at Prezzo, 36 High St, Buckingham on Friday 24th.

But I've also warned them we may have more than 8. If it happens we'll just have to get cosy and give up some elbow room.

I'm looking to set off shortly after 8am but would not want to hold anybody back if/when I get dropped.

I'm looking for an early start too.

Are we looking to have an organised start together - I think that would be good. I think then natural speed groups will form with 2 or 3 groups going around together.

I think that's the way to do it. Start together and then just see how we roll.

I'm hoping to get off the line between 8:00-8:10 so that there are fast riders around to bunch with and not too many slower ones to overtake. Should be easy to gather at the start given most of us will be wearing PH colours and/or meeting up the night before.

0800 around the start line then? long range forecasts suggest coldish but dry, about 6-10c and so' westerlies...
