Picked this up over the weekend as a project to keep me busy. Reynolds 531, exage levers and brakes, sugino cranks, sachs front deraileur, no idea what the rear is aside from that its stamped made in france.

As you might spot in the picture, someones decided to replace the perished hoods with .. electrical tape. Does anyone have any idea what other hoods might fit? originals seem non existant now.

My intention for this bike is to strip it down and rebuild it as a relaxed tourer. It's all in good mechanical condition so mostly its a repaint and tidy up. Ps that bar tape isn't actually filthy, thats just what its meant to look like! bizarre fashion, already been binned.

I have a feeling I have some spare Exage levers in the garage, I'll see if the hoods are any good, if so you can have them. I doubt you'll find any new ones, these are old levers now, it would be easier to change the levers for something more current.

Rear mech is probably a Huret, can't make it out on this iPhone though.

Cheers. I guess one old brake lever is much the same as another as the shifters aren't integrated. I'll have a look and see what I can find
