I've found my new favourite tyre, Vittoria Open Corsa CX, they ride sublimey on my Archetypes.

Ribble do a double pack of 23mm for £58 or the 25mm are £31 each.

I have been running Vittoria Open Pave's for the last 10 months, not a single puncture. Will be swapping for the same again later this year.
What are the Open Pave's like in the wet?
Never had any issues but I have not ridden in the wet very much as I tend to go out on the MTB if its sh!tty.

Open Paves are superb in the wet, mud 'n' grime of winter: it's what they're made for! That, and being battered over cobbles, which they also do very well.

After destroying a set of (admittedly VERY good) Open Corsas, I switched to a set of Michelin Pro4 Service Course tyres on grounds of cost, and simply something different. And TBH, they're nigh-on as good as the Corsas, and very good in the wet. Plenty of volume too for a nice ride.

I love the pave 24mm with green stripe in centre, and have commuted on them last year. I have just bought some corsas, to replace them for summer and I think I'll run them till they're dead as they are almost identical to the paves. PlanetX were doing the 23's at £22 a piece, so I asked wiggle to price match. Job done.
