In this months cycling plus there is a write up on the "new" Cervelo S3 which details some changes which improves the bike and particularly the ride quality.

I am confused though as looks wise it doesn't seem to differ from the current/outgoing model.

Does anyone know if the "new" one is the current bike on offer at retailers and is the magazine simply catching up. I note some retailers are offering the 2015 S3 so guessing that is the model to which the magazine refers.

In a nutshell how do you know whether it's an old or new model you are buying.

Has anyone looked into this at all.

Eurobike was on last week and Cervelo presented the new models(changes). While the S5 has changed and they introduced the R2 the S3 is unchanged having only been reintroduced this year(It was replaced by the S5 in 2012). The only changes I´m aware of is new paint but I´ve seen no pics yet. I´ve got one on order in Black and red with Campag Record. Its a great bike and ticks all the boxes.
