Don't think it's us... we've just got the one filing cabinet rider amongst the regulars smile

As Lester says we ride most Sundays... It's an 'all welcome' ride so if anyone from here wants to join just give me a shout and I'll post a link to the next ride ( probably next Sunday ).

I'd be up for this also..

I took my 20kg Marin Quake over to Peaslake yesterday.. really struggled with it.. must get me XC bike up and running again !!

Will keep an eye on this thread.. Happy to ride Surrey Hills, Bedgebury (good for the winter as not too boggy) and Swinley..

Is Epping forest any good for riding? Thought it was quite flat ?

The main road through the middle is flat but the forest itself is surprisingly lumpy. Some >10% climbs in places, though nothing goes on for too long and it's mostly just undulating.

I went out with some of the guys from the essexhertsmtb forum yesterday. A few beginners joined in with some more experienced riders and It was very enjoyable. We rode for about 3 and half hours. It was my first proper ride on a mountain bike and I learnt quite a lot (and only fell off twice!)

I think future runs will be quite regular. Keep a lookout of the essexhertsmtb forum for future dates. I think there may be another one this Sunday.

Here we go for anyone interested Sunday ride

Zippee... We ride most Sundays and right through the winter, although when the Epping mud gets too deep we swap to a loop down into the Lee Valley. I won't spam this thread with links... just keep an eye on the E&H MTB forum and you're welcome to join whenever you're free.
