Not sure how these compete with Boardman (which they now own outright too).
I like their nod to the rules though.
Shows how they are continuing to progress with throwing off their rather dodgy rep for service.

They look interesting and seem to be good value on the face of it - I am in the market for a new road bike and would not have expected a carbon frame, Ultegra and deep section rims for £1800....may be worth a wander down to Halfords for a look.

My only reservation is having Halfords build the bike - I got a Boardman MTB from them and am having to take that back to get sorted properly after problems with shifting and the disk brakes.

The Rules...

Rule #13 // If you draw race number 13, turn it upside down.

Boardman do the Road Pro SLR for 1799 before discounts... Full Ultegra and I'd rather have a Boardman frame than a generic open-mould carbon as the 13s are rumoured to be.

Some good value there but nothing to touch Canyon still.

Still can't quite work out what they are doing with this one given that it overlaps the Halfords Boardman and the carrera ranges.....

Yes, it's very odd.

They already have Carrera and Voodoo and Boardman on the MTB side that overlap too, no idea why.

With my company Halfords Scheme window about to open, I quite like the look of the Hybrid with 8 speed Alfine Hub gears.
Not too sure on the colour scheme though, look a bit snazzy. Will need to check out in the flesh so to speak.

I have just finished building my new Intuition Beta, so will be able to report on how it rides this weekend hopefully. Although I will be comparing it to bikes I have ridden, so my 2008 Boardman Road Comp, my 1969 Raleigh Royale, and the only carbon bike I've ridden before was a Wilier GTR which I hired in Majorca back in May.

I was lucky enough to win the bike in a competition on the 13 Bikes stand at the Bike Show at the NEC, and Halfords allowed me to collect from my local store in its flat pack box, so I got to build it up myself! They offered to build it for me, but I politely declined! I wanted the chance to tinker, and it was a valid excuse to the wife to have it sat in the living room in the evenings!

The build quality seems pretty good overall, although the carbon wheels seem to have picked up marks already, and the aero brakes had the cables exiting so that the rear brake catches the crank, and the front brake catches the down tube of the frame when tight steering angles are applied. Took a bit of manipulation to prevent it marking the frame.

Just need some dry weather now, so I can ride it without the frame dissolving! wink

Guessing this brand has since gone? Found a 13 intuition locally for sale but think I need more of a hybrid so will pass on it, but fancied seeing what other bikes they offer. They dont appear to exist.
