Just had a look at this bike. Anyone know if giant are ok?
I have a stumpjumper fsr 2007 currently. This giant seems good choice for technical trails up in the peaks.

my brother had a hard tail a few years back from them, it was one of the few bikes that fitted him size wise (he has his bikes set-up oddly) and still has it 17 years later.

in the meantime he has bought a cove, santa cruz, and whyte but still rides the giant.

lovely ali frame.

I've got 4 Giants in the garage including a 26er X. Like the look of that SX, it's more like a Trance with it's slacker head angle and more travel whilst (I hope) retaining it's excellent XC and climbing ability. So it might solve the perennial 'Anthem or Trance' question.

The Maestro suspension works well, looks like a dropper post on there? and those wheels are actually alright compared to most OE manu branded stuff.

Anyway, try one.

I bought a secondhand Giant M1 off eBay back in 2009 and it's still going strong. OK, I think it's an Urban Mountain Bike as it came with roadish tyres on 26ins rims but it's done it's fair share of commuting and bridle paths etc.

Only cost me £180 back then so it's currently the best value for money bicycle I have ever owned.
