I bought a set of Elite rollers a couple of weeks ago and I must say I'm really happy with them and enjoy the workout I get on them but they are a real bstard now and again.
I find them awkward to get onto due the their height off the floor, the plastic side rails and clip less shoes are not a help to climb on board!
I've watched all the internet stuff on it and have been using supports on either side but I got a bit distracted tonight and ended up on my arse.

Once I'm on and pedalling I don't have a problem and go spend an hour on them without issue, I've even perfected drinking from the bottle while on it.

It's just the mount and dismount bits I'm still battling with

Any advice ?

Take it back to the shop, get a refund, put it towards a mud bike and get your sorry ass out there smile Just been for a great, ok, damp, trail through the woodlands and tracks.

Try the Norwegian Blue method.

Once you're nailed onto the perch saddle everything will be fine wink

can you hang a strap or somethign from the ceiling?, worked for me, just hold onto it whilst you get up to speed and grab it when you are ready to come off, having lost the speed first obviously! wink

Try wrapping an old inner tube around one side of the frame so you're not skating about with plastic cleats on a metal frame when you're getting on the bike.

For getting off the bike I tend to just slow down then once I apply the brakes to stop the bike moving, unclip and lean to the side of the unclipped foot. Never had any issues with it so far.
