What are the odds that the one with the cycle cam cut him up prior?

Anyway:

I don't think he cut him up. I think the BMX-er tried to get through on the inside and found himself out of space.

That said, he could have moved over a bit once he spotted him.

I would suggest that the BMX rider was passing in a stupid fking place. Lets put it this way, I would not look that side for someone trying to pass me, especially as there is a coach coming up on the left. The BMX tried to squeeze into a quickly disappearing gap.

Even if the one with the helmet cam was at fault, the BMX reacted in a way that marks him out to be an unintelligent who's first instinct is to lash out. One day he will do it to the wrong person...

Blimey never mind the "rage", that guy was being scalped by a child on a bmx, SCALPED BY A BMXon a road bike...not on my watch !

On a serious note, that vid brought back flashbacks of my crash a few weeks back, front wheel stopped dead and then somersault over the bars, hope the guy made a quick recovery

I did think that too. Especially as the helmet cam guy passed at the lights when the BMXer was standing still.

Also doing that to someone riding a bike is equivalent to a massive punch to the face rather than a little shove. What a total .

It's funny how everyone sees something different. I get the feeling that often people online turn on the person simply because they were filming and posted it on YouTube. Anyhow my take on events having watched it a couple of times:
- BMX undertakes on the left aiming either to scoot through the gap between the bus and filming bike OR push his way right and force the filming bike out of the way.
- The filming bike holds a straight line either because he didn't see the BMX, couldn't move or simply wouldn't. Not enough information to say.
- As the two come together as the BMX pushes right the guy wobbles. Others take this as trying to push left on the BMX into the bus. Just looks like a wobble to me.
- Filming bike then moves right to pass another bike but decides to brake and tuck in behind. Again you don't know if that's because he senses someone on his shoulder (likely the BMX) or simply changes his mind. The third way is he's brake testing the BMX, but there's no evidence again and it feels unlikely.
- The BMX rider then assaults him. Nothing more.

In summary BMX is 100% in the wrong and at fault.
