I saw from the Felt instructions that I needed this grease. It also seemed to say between the lines that using the bike is probably dangerous and should be avoided on H&S grounds. The seat post needs replacing every 2 years.

I mentioned that I have failed badly to properly maintain my old bike and so hoped that the Felt book would give some advice on the subject of regular maintenance. Please can you say what tools I need,? Especially a lightweight torque wrench? Do you use a bike stand? And at what sort of intervals you do things?

Thanks

Well, I am convinced. They look like a nice firm to do business with, as well.
Great bikes, and at that price its hard to find any fault with it. Not the best company to deal with IMO.

Are you North, or South, of 83kg? Will you be replacing the post next? as it does not seem that easy to get one.

The thought of it failing and the stub penetrating my nether regions is clearly a worry for me. 😀
