Just another angry motorist taking out his frustrations on an easy target, looks like the standard "How dare they ride on my roads, I'll teach them a lesson for holding me up grr grrr" attitude....

His defence will whine that he didnt do anything wrong, its been blown out of proportion, he needs his car for work etc etc and he will walk away scot free.

We can only hope he thinks twice about doing it again but to be honest, he will probably feel vindicated when he walks away scot free and his behaviour wil lcontinue only next time he might make contact....

Scary, I cycle down those roads every weekend

In fact a few weeks ago we were on a club run just up from there, it was very thick fog.

Guy in this diesel E34 estate that was "drift" modified was flooring it up and down a quiet A road, drifting road the roundabout then going back down the road at 80mph +. Once he saw us on our bikes he started screaming abuse at us, no one in our group reacted it then went quiet in the fog. We set off down the road then I heard a diesel screaming up behind which was obscured by thick fog. Half the group dived in the bush, half stayed on the road, where he brushed past us whilst accelerating flat out. He then handbrake turned in a junction drove past again screaming abuse , to try and get us a second time .

Never seen a physco like it, he really seemed hell bent on aiming for us, it was a stty old E34 Estate pouring hour thick black smoke , he must of thought he was the dogs danglies .

I had this in Richmond Park. The best bit? The woman in the passenger seat was waving her police badge out the window at me while he did it (off duty).

Performance Cycles in Poulton?

wavey

I remember this incident from Facebook - there is video evidence of him literally pointing his car at a cyclist on the opposite side of the road. I'd be surprised if he gets off.

Fair enough - it's on one of our routes too! I'll give you the Team America Secret Signal if I see you lot out on a Saturday morning.

I quite frequently cycle out this way as I generally find the roads better than going the other side of Swindon toward Hungerford. Hopefully this muppet gets exactly what he deserves.
