I want this...

Unfortunately £7000 for a mtb is not happening as I don't have a girlfriend, let alone a rich one. I certainly can't afford that.

erm..
Just bought a Canondale SuperX for the commute at a bargain price from a friend who bought it without trying it for size (turned out it was too big for him!)
Complete overkill to commute on, but i'm happy - it replaces my old CX9 that has borne its commuting duties well!

A neck brace - because often my ambition massively outweighs my ability.

Been given one of these:

http://www.pedal-pedal.co.uk/lezyne-macro-drive-us...

Like all Lezyne stuff it's very well made. It wasn't that bright though.

Then I RTFM and discovered OVERDRIVE RACE MODE. It's plenty bright.

I'll keep my ebay CREE on the bike but this fits nicely to the helmet. Plenty of brightness settings so I won't be obnoxious over-bright helmet light boy. Very pleased.

I'm not sure if anyone else will buy me any cycling stuff, so I bought a turbo trainer and set it to my in law's for collection on Xmas day! I have bought my father in law a Fat Lad At The Back 'Lanterne Rouge' winter jersey though.
