Absolutely in agreement with you.
This reminds me of the Rhyl Cycling Club tragedy a few years a go - yet another travesty of justice. Really not acceptable.

And China as well - Probably some (over zealous?) justice to the truck driver - he'll probably be jailed for 10 years! ISTR the heads of the company behind the chinese poisoned baby milk getting the death sentence!

I watched that somewhat impartially - being a driver and a cyclist. Remember the driver is on the left hand side of the truck cab. The truck seemed to me to describe a constant radius circle, whereas the cyclist seemed oblivious to the truck, and cut across the path of the truck.

In this circumstance, I blame the cyclist but I'm glad he escaped seemingly unhurt.
