Just the one...

I'm going to try really hard to not get hit by any large vans next year. I'd prefer not to have another 5 month enforced lay-off from riding, and shiny peach pyjamas definitely don't suit me...

Success on that score! No collisions for 2015. woohoo

...I'd started the year quietly hoping to break the 2,000 mile barrier by the end of the year. Then I got a new bike and thought I'd up that to 2,500 miles for the year. Now, though, it looks like 4,000 miles and 200,000ft of climbing will be achievable. Next week should see my mileage just on my new road bike exceed 1,500 miles since mid March...
Distance = 6,099.7 mi
Time = 443h 48m
Elev Gain = 292,966 ft
Rides = 185

Plus a finishing total of 514km for the Festive 500.

I'm done now. No interest whatsoever in getting a soaking at the hands of 'Storm Frank' tomorrow and a family day out on New Year's Eve. So my next ride will be New Year's Day at the earliest.

Happy New Year, all! And good luck with the 2016 goals!

Edit: 'Frank' was late arriving, so I went out again and topped the mileage up a smidgin...

Distance = 6,126.1 mi
Time = 445h 53m
Elev Gain = 294,603 ft
Rides = 186

That is good going!

I'm also having a few days off the bike, I think the bike also needs a rest/some TLC too, there were a lot of creaks coming out of it on the last few rides.
